Why does my business website need a blog?
To show up in more searches. Think of your website as a house: the more doors it has, the more people can walk in, and every service with its own page and every article is one more door on Google. Your customers do not only search for your name: they search for questions about what you do. Each article answers one of those questions and leads the reader to your service.
Do I have to write the articles?
No. I write them from what you tell me about your business and optimize them for SEO. If you like, you review them before they go live.
How is it different from a one-page website?
A one-page website puts everything together and works if you offer few services. With a blog, every service has its own page and there is new content every month, so you show up in many more searches.
Can I change things myself?
Yes. Your website comes with a dashboard where you change photos and prices and edit the text of the articles, from your phone. I can write the monthly article for you, or you can write it yourself in the dashboard. If you want to change the design or add a section, message me and I’ll do it.
When will I see results on Google?
Once we publish your website, it can show up on Google, but Google takes time to trust a new site and rank it higher. According to Google, it usually starts to show 4 to 12 months after it goes live.
